The third season, consisting of eight episodes, will portray a time jump that transitions the characters out of high school. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles, thanks to a generous $19.4 million tax credit from California.
Euphoria Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2026, a four-year gap following the conclusion of Season 2. Francesca Orsi, HBO’s head of drama, hinted that this season might signal the end of the beloved series. She remarked, “We’ve talked about it…but it’s been discussed that this is the end.” Orsi assured fans that they would find great satisfaction in the unfolding narratives.

Created, written, and directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria has garnered significant recognition, receiving 25 Emmy nominations and winning nine awards, including honors for Zendaya as Best Actress in a Drama and Colman Domingo for Best Guest Actor. Levinson also secured a DGA Award for the standout Season 2 episode, “Stand Still Like the Hummingbird.”
