Coroner Releases New CCTV Footage in Noah Donohoe Case, Seeks Information

New footage has emerged in the Noah Donohoe case, prompting a renewed appeal for public assistance. The 14-year-old boy was last seen leaving his home on Fitzroy Avenue in Belfast on June 21, 2020, at approximately 5:40 PM. The Coroner’s Service for Northern Ireland is seeking information regarding his whereabouts during that time.
Timeline of Events
Noah was recorded on CCTV cycling from Northwood Drive at about 6:08 PM, which marks the last known sighting of him alive. Earlier that day, there were two other significant moments captured on video.
- 3:34 AM: Noah departs his home, wearing dark knee-length shorts and a light-colored T-shirt. He is barefoot, carrying flip-flops and over-ear headphones in his right hand.
- 4:08 AM: Noah returns home on University Street, this time barefoot, with neither his flip-flops nor headphones visible.
During his initial departure, Noah appeared to be walking west toward Queen’s University. The footage indicates he returned from Ormeau Road, re-entering his residence at 65 Fitzroy Avenue.
Public Appeal for Information
Mr. Justice Rooney has requested that anyone with knowledge about Noah’s activities before his disappearance come forward. Key questions include:
- What prompted Noah to leave his home?
- Did he meet anyone after leaving?
- What happened to his flip-flops and headphones?
The Coroner’s Service urges anyone who may have seen Noah or has information regarding his behavior during early hours on other occasions to get in touch.

The inquest into Noah Donohoe’s death, previously scheduled for next month, has been postponed until 2026. Concerns were expressed during a recent hearing regarding the completion of evidence by Christmas.
