Weather and Runway Construction Cause Logan Airport Delays, Officials Confirm

Logan International Airport is currently experiencing significant flight delays due to adverse weather conditions and ongoing runway construction. A nor’easter, which has moved south of the region, has resulted in low cloud coverage across eastern Massachusetts.

According to data from FlightAware, travelers should anticipate ground delays averaging around three hours for flights arriving at Logan. Departing flights are also facing delays ranging from 45 minutes to one hour.
