Plane Crash Claims 2 Lives in Tarrant County, Reports Fort Worth Fire Dept.

Two lives were lost in a tragic plane crash on Sunday afternoon in Tarrant County. The incident occurred in the 12000 block of N. Saginaw Boulevard, near Hicks Airfield.

According to the Fort Worth Fire Department, the small aircraft collided with several 18-wheelers and trailers, resulting in a fire that has since been brought under control. The crash site lies between Fort Worth Alliance Airport and Fort Worth Meacham Airport, to the west of DFW International Airport.

A prompt response from multiple agencies was initiated. Emergency crews from Tarrant County, Haslet, Lake Worth, Newark, Saginaw, Eagle Mountain, and Fort Worth participated in the efforts to manage the situation.
