Clive Owen Teams Up with Ukraine’s Slaboshpytskyi and Renowned Italian Director

Clive Owen is set to collaborate with Ukrainian director Myroslav Slaboshpytskyi and a prominent Italian filmmaker in upcoming projects. He revealed these developments during a recent roundtable at the Taormina Film Festival, where he will receive an honorary award.
Clive Owen’s Upcoming Collaborations
Owen shared that he is in the early stages of discussions for a film project in Italy. He expressed excitement about the opportunity, having previously worked in the country with Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino. Although he admired Sorrentino’s work, Owen clarified that he is not the Italian director involved in the new project.
Impressed by Slaboshpytskyi’s acclaimed film, *The Tribe*, Owen is also set to work with the Ukrainian director. Slaboshpytskyi is known for his projects that delve into challenging themes, including his upcoming war drama, *Occupation*, and another film titled *The Tiger*.
Other Projects on the Horizon
In addition to his collaboration with Slaboshpytskyi, Owen will star in *Kristallnacht*, a historical thriller directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky. The film revisits the tragic events of the November 1938 pogroms in Germany and Austria. Owen noted that the gripping script and Ruzowitzky’s previous work, *The Counterfeiters*, drew him to this project.
