Woman Dies in Brazil Bridge Fall Due to Unsecured Bungee Cord

A tragic incident in São Paulo, Brazil, resulted in the death of a 21-year-old woman after she fell from a bridge during a bungee jump. The incident occurred on a Saturday at the Skeleton Bridge Trail in Limeira. Authorities have confirmed that the woman was not properly secured with a bungee cord at the time of the jump.

The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was recorded on social media moments before her fall. In the video, she can be seen standing at the edge of a cliff with a helmet on. Three men assisted her, and two of them subsequently threw her off the edge.
Failure of Safety Equipment
According to a statement from the São Paulo Governor’s Office, the safety equipment was not adequately fixed during the jump. This led to a fatal fall of several feet to the ground below.
