BP Pulse Expands EV Charging Network Across Texas, Virginia, Louisiana
BP Pulse is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging network across Texas, Virginia, and Louisiana. This recent initiative highlights the growing importance of sustainable energy solutions by major oil companies. The expansion includes opening three new charging sites designed to cater to the increasing number of EV users.
New Charging Locations and Features
The newly launched sites include:
- Louisiana: Located at exit 266 on I-10 near Slidell. This site is ideal for those traveling to and from New Orleans. It offers pull-through and ADA-compliant charging stalls.
- Texas: Situated near East San Antonio, this location adds to the state’s accessibility for EV drivers.
- Virginia: Positioned at exit 89 on I-95 close to North Richmond, it caters to travelers heading along the Eastern Seaboard.
Site Specifications
Each charging site features:
- 12 charging bays equipped with CCS and NACS connectors.
- Charging speeds reaching up to 400 kW.
- Proximity to Travel Centers of America (TA) stations, which provide amenities such as:
- Travel stores
- Restrooms
- ATM services
- Pet areas
- Restaurants
