The People’s Postcode Lottery operates by sharing substantial monthly funds among participants. Each month, over £3.2 million is distributed. In this format, £1.6 million is allocated to tickets from the winning postcode, while an equal amount is shared among the winning postcode sector.
A minimum of 33% of each ticket sale contributes directly to charity. Since its inception in 2005, the lottery has raised over £1.3 billion for more than 9,000 charitable organizations and good causes.
