A popular village pub in Huddersfield has shut its doors unexpectedly, leaving many locals concerned about its future. The Foresters Arms, located in Lower Cumberworth, is currently closed as pub operator Stonegate Group seeks a new tenant.

A notice on the pub’s window expressed gratitude to patrons for their support over the past two and a half years. It also conveyed regret over the abrupt closure, stating:
