Pacific Petro Updates May 28 Retail Gas Prices

On May 28, retail gas prices from Pacific Petroleum Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company, commonly known as Pacific Petro, have remained stable. This follows an adjustment made earlier in May, where price fluctuations occurred due to global market changes.

Current Retail Gas Prices

As of May 28, Pacific Petro’s pricing structure for various gas brands remains consistently applied. The maximum retail prices, effective since May 1, 2026, are as follows:

  • PACIFIC GAS (12kg): 670,000 VND/cylinder
  • ESGAS (12.5kg): 687,000 VND/cylinder
  • ACE GAS (12kg): 687,000 VND/cylinder

Industrial Gas Prices

In the industrial gas market, Pacific Petro has maintained the following prices:

  • 45kg cylinders: 2,509,000 VND
  • 50kg cylinders: 2,785,000 VND

These prices include VAT and represent the maximum retail prices available to consumers. Actual prices at local agents or stores may vary based on regional pricing strategies and policies.

Market Trends

The stability in retail gas prices comes after a significant price spike earlier in May, attributed to rising global gas prices. Many domestic gas companies, including Pacific Petro, are now maintaining their retail pricing strategies collectively. This approach aims to provide consumers with consistent pricing amid fluctuating global markets.
