Nine ACC Teams to Compete in 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament

In 2026, nine teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) will compete in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. This marks the second consecutive year that the ACC will send this number of teams to the tournament. Scheduled to begin on May 29, the championship will feature a total of 64 teams.
ACC’s Dominance in NCAA Baseball
The ACC has shown remarkable consistency in baseball, qualifying at least six teams for the NCAA tournament for 22 consecutive seasons. Furthermore, for the seventh straight year, at least eight ACC teams will participate. This achievement positions the ACC with the second-highest number of selections among NCAA conferences.
Regional Hosts and Tournament Structure
This year, three ACC teams will serve as hosts for regional sites:
- Florida State: Hosts the Tallahassee Regional.
- North Carolina: Hosts the Chapel Hill Regional.
