The recall affects specific models: Hyundai Santa Cruz, Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid, manufactured between 2025 and 2026. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that the software controlling the front cameras could inadvertently trigger the forward collision avoidance system, deploying the brakes unexpectedly.
