Cotswolds Air Show Cancelled Amid Middle East Conflict

The Cotswolds Air Show, originally scheduled for July 17 to 19, 2023, at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, has been cancelled. This decision stems from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Organisers announced the cancellation after consultations with the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the United States Air Force regarding access uncertainties to the venue.
Cancellation Details
Gavin Gager, CEO of Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises, expressed the disappointment surrounding the cancellation. He acknowledged the significance of the event to participants and spectators alike. Gager stated, “We know how much RIAT means to everyone and recognise how disappointing this news will be.”
Future Commitments
Despite this setback, Gager reassured fans that the organisation remains committed to the future. Plans are already in motion for the event to return in 2027, with the goal of making it even stronger.
