Ibra Joins K-Sport, Enhancing Athlete Performance with AI Technology

Zlatan Ibrahimović has officially joined K-Sport, an Italian tech company specializing in sports performance analysis. This strategic move aims to accelerate the company’s growth and strengthen its global leadership position. Ibrahimović will serve as Global Ambassador and anchor investor, focusing on expanding the brand in Europe, the United States, and Asia.

Ibrahimović’s Vision for Sports

“I recognized something unique in this project,” Ibrahimović stated. “A model that uses data to democratize sports, offering everyone a real chance to be noticed, measured, and improved.” He believes K-Sport can become a global catalyst for change in how talent and performance are defined.

K-Sport’s Foundation and Achievements

Founded in 2008 by Mirko Marcolini, K-Sport was the first in the world to patent AI-based match analysis. Over the years, it has established a significant global presence, collaborating with over 1,800 clubs and national teams, monitoring the performance of more than 150,000 athletes.

Financial Growth and Future Goals

In 2025, K-Sport reported revenues of $6.03 million, marking a 112% increase over the past two years. The company aims to surpass $80 million in revenue by 2030 as part of its long-term plan. Its goal is to create the largest global ecosystem for identifying, measuring, and developing talent, regardless of where an athlete starts.

K-Fans Initiative

The introduction of Ibrahimović aims to enhance K-Fans, a platform designed to bridge the gap between professional and grassroots sports. This initiative uses wearable technology and a dedicated app, allowing amateur players and youth athletes to track their performance and share data within a global database accessible to scouts and professional clubs.

Commitment to Accessibility in Sports

“Zlatan chose K-Sport because he recognized a vision that extends beyond technology,” stated Alberto Guidotti, President and CEO of K-Sport. “This is not just an industrial project; it is a commitment to making sports more open and accessible.”

International Growth and Market Position

K-Sport’s growth is further supported by a recent international expansion, including the acquisition of the Australian company Sport Performance Tracking. The company currently holds 80% of the Italian football market, collaborating with top clubs such as Inter, Milan, Napoli, and others, along with national teams from Italy, Argentina, and Brazil.

Diverse Sports Analysis

In addition to football, K-Sport provides technical analysis for elite tennis players like Flavio Cobolli and Andrey Rublev, as well as for basketball, including the Italian national team and EuroLeague clubs.

Future Funding and Expansion Plans

To support further international expansion and enhance the Fans division, K-Sport’s shareholders plan a new fundraising round in the second quarter of 2026. This capital increase will involve new venture capital funds, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), and an equity crowdfunding campaign to broaden the company’s investor base.
