In a bid to alleviate rising gasoline prices, Circle K is lowering gas prices by 10 cents per litre at its two North Bay stations. This promotion is set to kick off this afternoon as part of a broader initiative across Canada.
Details of Circle K’s Fuel Day Promotion
The two Circle K locations participating in this promotion are:
- 617 Main St. East
- 2606 Trout Lake Road
The Fuel Day event will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, offering significant savings for local drivers as gas prices in North Bay hover around $1.80 per litre for regular fuel. This nationwide promotion involves over 1,300 locations across Canada.
Support for Children’s Hospitals
In addition to the discounted fuel, Circle K has launched a charitable initiative. For every fuel transaction during the event, the company will contribute $1 to local Children’s Hospitals in Ontario, with a cap of $50,000. Circle K Froster Active Kids will also match these donations, potentially doubling the contribution to a total of $100,000.
“With household budgets stretched and the unofficial start of summer just around the corner, this is a timely, tangible savings story for everyday Canadians,” noted a Circle K spokesperson in a recent news release.
Circle K aims to make an impact both economically and socially through this promotion, offering much-needed relief at the pump while supporting children’s health programs in Ontario.
