Sajid Khan Dodges Serious Injury as Ball Nearly Strikes Him at IPL

Mumbai witnessed a narrow escape for music composer Sajid Khan during a recent Indian Premier League (IPL) match. The incident occurred when a powerful cricket ball nearly struck him while he was enjoying the game.

Sajid Khan’s Close Call at IPL

Known for his work as part of the duo Sajid-Wajid, Khan shared his experience in a video. He appeared in a Punjab Kings jersey, showcasing his minor injuries, which included scratches and swelling on his forearm and leg.

Khan described the moment of tension when he thought he could catch the ball. He explained, “I initially stood up to make the catch, but my foot got caught in the chair.” As a result, he became unbalanced just as the ball was about to hit his face.

In a split-second decision, he jumped out of the way, narrowly avoiding severe injury. “I thought, ‘Jump! Don’t think. Just jump!’,” Khan recounted, recognizing the potential danger of the situation.

Injury Details and Recovery

Fortunately, Khan’s injuries were minor. He stated, “It’s not a big injury. I received a little swelling and scratches, but I’m doing fine.” He expressed gratitude for escaping a more serious situation, commenting on the ball’s force and the impact it could have had on his life and career.

Despite the close call, Khan took the incident in stride, acknowledging the humor in the situation as his videos began to go viral. He noted that many people were laughing at his predicament but assured his fans, “I got saved somehow. I’m fine.”
