Rent Revival Reveals West End Venue, Dates, and Details
The celebrated rock musical Rent is set for a revival in the West End, commemorating its 30th anniversary. The production, originally created by Jonathan Larson, first premiered Off-Broadway in 1996. It later moved to Broadway, earning acclaim and numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Awards.

This new iteration of Rent will showcase at the Duke of York’s Theatre, beginning on 26 September 2026. The production is spearheaded by director Luke Sheppard, a previous award winner known for his five-star revival at the Hope Mill Theatre in 2020 and 2021, which inspired this new version. Producers Chris Harper and Sonia Friedman expressed their excitement about bringing the musical back to the West End.

Ticketing Information
Tickets will go on general sale starting at midday, with pre-sales available in the morning. The producers have made 10,000 tickets available for £35 or less, including on-stage seats for select audiences.
