Translink has announced extra services for the event, operating G1 Glider routes every 10 minutes from noon until 7 PM. These services will run from Wellington Place and Dundonald toward Stormont.
Public Transport Recommendations
Jonathan Seaton, Service Delivery Manager at Translink, emphasized the importance of public transport. He stated, “With thousands expected to attend, public transport is the easiest and most sustainable way to enjoy the event while avoiding congestion and parking delays.”
Planning Your Trip
Attendees are encouraged to plan their journeys using Translink’s Journey Planner app or their website. Here are some travel options available on the day of the race:
- Family and Friends Ticket: £24 for unlimited day travel for 2 adults and 4 children.
- Metro and Glider Family Day Ticket: £10 for unlimited day travel for 2 adults and 4 children.
- Unlimited Sunday Travel: £10 for all Ulsterbus, Goldliner, Metro, and Glider services after 9:15 AM.
- Train Travel: £10 Sunday Day Tracker ticket for unlimited rail travel.
