The 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is set to return this weekend, marking significant anniversaries. This year, the Cloverdale Rodeo celebrates its 78th year, while the Country Fair commemorates its 135th. The Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association (CREA) has introduced several exciting new attractions for attendees.

New Attractions at the Cloverdale Rodeo 2026
- Thursday Night Kickoff: The event kicks off on Thursday evening, featuring live performances, a free rodeo event, food trucks, and midway rides. Admission is $5, free for children under 12. Headliners include Brett Kissell and Cooper Alan.
- Rodeo Sneak-a-Peek: Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the rodeo crews in action with trick riders and animal stars during this one-night-only event. Free with Fairgrounds admission.
- Rodeo Drone Show: Witness a spectacular drone display on Friday night at 10 p.m. and Sunday night at 9:20 p.m. The show is free with Fairgrounds admission, promising a visual experience not to be missed, followed by performances from top artists.
- Rodeo Tailgate Party: A new pre-show experience that starts 90 minutes before each rodeo performance, featuring music, food, and entertainment. Admission is included with your Rodeo performance ticket.
- Expanded Rodeo Reds: This area has moved to a larger venue, featuring live music, DJs, and line dancing lessons, including a special North Country Collective performance on Friday night.
- Backstretch Action Zone: A new high-adrenaline area offering events such as a Demolition Derby and a Global FMX Freestyle Motocross Show, along with food trucks and a climbing wall.
- Expanded Farm Friendz: Two new attractions: a catch-and-release fishing experience for kids and an interactive mini farm at the Cloverdale Arena.
- Little Rodeo Pro: Located in the Indigenous Village, this interactive attraction allows children to practice rodeo skills on a timed course.
- Free Skating: The Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex will offer free public skating throughout the weekend (skate rentals not included).
- Mini Golf: A pop-up mini golf course in the Indigenous Village entertain guests of all ages free of charge.
- 2+3 Weekend Pass: A new “2+3” pass offers a five-day weekend ticket for the price of two days, priced at $36 for adults, with free admission for kids 12 and under.
The inaugural Cloverdale Rodeo took place in 1945, while the first Country Fair was held in 1888. Tickets for this year’s rodeo are available for purchase. Don’t miss out on this vibrant celebration of tradition and community.
