Søren Torpegaard Lund, a 27-year-old singer and actor from Gudme, Denmark, has a rich background in the arts. He began his journey in music and performance at a young age. By 17, he was accepted into the prestigious Danish Stage Arts School.
His stage experience includes notable roles in musical productions like “West Side Story” and “Kinky Boots.” Previously, Søren participated in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023 but did not secure a place among the top three finalists.

His entry, “Før vi går hjem,” showcases his talent and passion for music. This song was co-written by Søren along with Clara Sofie Fabricius, Thomas Meilstrup, and Valdemar Littauer Bendixen.
Denmark’s Eurovision History
Denmark has a rich history in the Eurovision Song Contest, debuting in 1957. The nation celebrated its first victory in 1963 with the song “Dansevise” performed by Grethe and Jørgen Ingmann. Over the decades, Denmark has faced challenges, including relegations in 1994, 1996, and 1998.
