Andri Xhahu Named Albania’s Eurovision 2026 Spokesperson

Andri Xhahu has been appointed as the spokesperson for Albania in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2026. This marks the fourteenth occasion he will announce the jury’s points during the competition.

Beyond announcing the results, Xhahu will also serve as a commentator on multiple platforms, including RTSH 1, Radio Tirana 1, and RTSH Muzikë.

Albania’s Representation in Eurovision

This year, Albania will be represented by Alis, featuring the song “Nân” (Mother). The performance will take place during the second semi-final on May 14.

Albania’s Eurovision History

Albania made its debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004, achieving a commendable 7th place with Anjeza Shahini’s “The Image of You.”

Since then, the country has participated every year, with notable success in reaching the grand final an additional 11 times. In 2012, Rona Nishliu’s song “Suus” earned Albania its highest placement to date, finishing 5th with 146 points.

Andri Xhahu’s role not only highlights his dedication but also reinforces Albania’s presence in the Eurovision landscape as the country continues to strive for greater success in this celebrated competition.
