The Owen Sound Attack has officially announced a transition in ownership, marking a significant chapter for the franchise. The team has been sold to Ecological Dynamics Sports Partners (EDSP), a group steered by Tyler Nother and Donald McClure. This strategic move aims to enhance the growth and performance of the team within the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

New Leadership at the Helm

Tyler Nother, a former OHL player and an NHL Players’ Association certified agent, will take on dual roles as Governor and President. He is expected to oversee the Attack’s hockey strategies and player development.

Donald McClure, the Managing Partner of EDSP, brings more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience to the ownership group. Both leaders share a vision of enhancing the player experience while ensuring the team competes effectively in the evolving landscape of junior hockey.

The transition is supported by Dr. Bob Severs, a long-time co-owner, who will continue as the Head of Business Operations and Community Relations. He emphasized the importance of choosing an ownership team that respects the team’s connection to the Owen Sound community.
