A Brief History of Luxembourg at Eurovision
Luxembourg has a rich heritage in the Eurovision Song Contest, participating 37 times since its inception in 1956. The nation has clinched victory five times, with the last win occurring in 1983. Although Luxembourg considered returning in 2004, financial constraints led to a withdrawal from the competition.
After a hiatus of 31 years, Luxembourg made its anticipated return to Eurovision in 2024, reigniting interest in the country’s musical contributions on this international stage.
