Stephen Colbert Shares Kisses with Pedro Pascal, Louis-Dreyfus on ‘The Late Show’
Stephen Colbert is receiving a wave of affection as he nears the conclusion of his tenure on The Late Show. During a recent episode, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Pedro Pascal participated in playful banter with Colbert, reflecting on his spontaneous kiss with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
Playful Jealousy and Celebrity Kisses
The playful atmosphere began on Monday night’s episode of The Late Show when Colbert hosted fellow late-night stars Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver, and Seth Meyers. During a game, when asked about on-camera kisses, Colbert focused his attention on Fallon. “Why would you look at me like this?” Fallon quipped, to which Colbert challenged, “Cause I think you’ve made out with guests on camera.” In a surprising twist, Colbert leaned in and shared a kiss with Fallon, who later expressed his shock: “Wow! Did not see it going there.”
Colbert also reminisced about his past smooches with notable guests including Sally Field, Helen Mirren, Allison Janney, Jeff Daniels, and Andrew Garfield. He humorously noted that while he and Jane Fonda did not kiss, she did playfully stick her tongue in his ear.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus Joins the Fun
The following night, Louis-Dreyfus brought up Colbert’s kiss with Fallon. She playfully suggested she wanted to be part of the list of guests Colbert had kissed. “No one’s watching. It’s just between us,” she said, prompting the host to agree, “What harm is there?” This led to a kiss that sent the audience into a frenzy of applause.
Pedro Pascal’s Turn
The excitement continued when Pedro Pascal joined Colbert on the set later in the episode. After some delightful conversation, Pascal indicated he wanted a kiss as well. “I got jealous,” he joked after their embrace, to which Colbert replied, “No need! Anytime. These lips will soon be free.”
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert is set to air its final episode on May 21, marking the end of an era filled with laughter and memorable moments.
