Dana White Clarifies Restrictions for UFC Freedom 250 White House Event Tickets

UFC President Dana White provided updates regarding the upcoming Freedom 250 event, set to take place at the White House on June 14. The temporary UFC cage, designed specifically for this occasion, will host a large gathering. An expected crowd of 85,000 will participate, watching the matches on large screens installed in Ellipse Park.
Ticket Distribution for UFC Freedom 250 Event
White emphasized that the 85,000 tickets to the Freedom 250 are not a gesture of goodwill. “It’s on federal land,” he stated, clarifying that under federal regulations, no merchandise can be sold during the event. “The taxpayers aren’t paying anything,” White reassured, indicating that UFC is covering all the costs associated with the event.
Registration Process for Free Tickets
Although the tickets will be available at no cost, individuals interested in attending must register. The specific registration process remains unclear, but Ticketmaster is expected to facilitate ticket access on its website.
Attendees on the South Lawn
While 85,000 attendees are expected to gather across the street from the White House, approximately 4,000 guests will be watching the fights from the South Lawn itself. Ticket allocation for this VIP area includes:
- 1,000 tickets assigned to President Donald Trump
- 200 tickets allocated to Dana White
- 200 tickets for Ariel Emanuel, CEO of the holding company that owns UFC
- The remainder going to various branches of the military
With this unprecedented event on federal land, the UFC aims to create a significant spectacle that enhances its connection with fans while adhering to legal restrictions. This unique combination of entertainment and patriotism will mark a notable day in the history of UFC events.
