Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are set to dazzle audiences with their annual holiday show at New York City Center this November. Their beloved production, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, will take place on November 25 and 27, marking its ninth year.
The Star-Studded Cast
This year’s performance features RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme, who are also responsible for directing and producing the show. Monsoon has been recognized as a two-time winner of the reality competition, becoming a fan favorite among theatre enthusiasts.
A Unique Holiday Experience
Each year, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show offers a fresh experience, with past themes ranging from time travel narratives akin to A Christmas Carol, to exploring dystopian AI scenarios. The show even inspired a film in 2020, titled The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special.
Behind the Scenes
Joining Monsoon and DeLaCreme in the production team are Kevin Heard and Gus Lanza, all operating under the banner of BenDeLaCreme Presents. Jin Moon comes on board as the associate producer, contributing to the creative force behind the show.
Past Performances and Acclaim
- Monsoon starred in Cole Escola’s Oh, Mary! during two successful runs.
- She also created the role of Ruth in Pirates! The Penzance Musical.
- Additionally, Monsoon featured as Matron “Mama” Morton in Broadway’s Chicago.
- She made her Off-Broadway debut in 2024 as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.
