Leeds voters are being urged to actively participate in the upcoming City Council election on Thursday, May 7. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 10 PM for registered voters who haven’t voted by mail.

Postal Voting Instructions
- Postal votes must be submitted at polling stations or the electoral services office at Leeds Civic Hall, LS1 1UR.
- No other council offices can accept postal votes.

Election Day and Counting Process
Election counting will occur on Friday, May 8, at the John Charles Centre for Sport. Voters will elect 36 councillors across Leeds City Council. This includes one councillor for each of the 33 ward areas, plus additional seats for vacancies in Adel and Wharfedale, Morley North, and Temple Newsam.
