Morrison joined the U’s Academy as a youth and made his first-team debut at just 17 years old. His career included stints at clubs such as Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday, before returning to Cambridge in 2023.
During his latest tenure, Morrison played a key role in the team’s promotion to League One. He served as Club Captain and concluded his time at the U’s by lifting the promotion trophy at Crewe, solidifying his legacy with a total of 247 appearances for the club.
James Brophy joined the club in 2021 and became a vital player, known for his remarkable consistency and energy on the field. He recorded 259 appearances and was recognized as Player of the Season in 2024/25, leaving a lasting impression as a fan favorite.
Player Updates
Several other notable players will also be departing. Elias Kachunga, who made 112 appearances and scored 16 goals, is among them.
