Marie-Eve Janvier Shares Update Since Professional Break for Survival

Marie-Eve Janvier, the prominent singer and host, has shared her first update in seven months after taking a professional break for her well-being. This announcement was made during her appearance on Rythme FM, where she spoke with co-host Maripier Morin.
Professional Break for Survival
Janvier emphasized that her hiatus was imperative. She confessed that she had lost desire for her career and experienced severe anxiety symptoms, including heart palpitations. “It wasn’t a choice; it was a matter of survival,” she stated, revealing that her struggles had become overwhelming.
The Journey to Wellness
During her time off, Marie-Eve has actively engaged in various therapeutic practices. She revealed that her break began on October 14, when she noticed her health dwindling. She often suffered from headaches and felt a disconnect from her surroundings.
Acceptance and Healing
Accepting her condition took time. “It has been two months since I’ve genuinely accepted that I am unwell,” she explained. Initially, she sought to escape her feelings but later embraced the situation by focusing on wellness. She began attending therapy sessions, including unique equine therapy.
- Engaged in physical activities such as gym workouts.
- Incorporated daily walks and reading into her routine.
- Took time for restful sleep, which she believes is essential for recovery.
Embracing Silence and Creativity
Janvier spoke of finding solace in silence and creativity during her break. “I nourish myself with emptiness and peace. Namasté,” she said, mentioning her newfound love for watercolor painting. The quiet moments have been beneficial in her healing journey, allowing her to confront and process her emotions.
Family Support
Her three children have played a crucial role in her recovery, providing her with the motivation to face each day. Despite feeling disconnected from social media, Marie-Eve is focusing on what truly matters in her life.
Looking Ahead
Currently, Janvier has not confirmed any plans for returning to her career. She took a step back from her role in the Sintra symphonique show, which is now being hosted by Mia Tinayre, the winner of Star Académie 2025. While she calculates her next steps, Janvier’s journey serves as an inspiring reminder of the importance of mental health.
