Anthony Delon, the eldest son of renowned actor Alain Delon, has been questioned by police regarding the death of his brother’s dog, Obba. This incident is part of a preliminary investigation initiated by the Montargis prosecutor’s office on April 15, 2026, addressing allegations of animal cruelty.
Details of the Incident
The inquiry follows a series of accusations by Alain Fabien Delon, Anthony’s younger brother. On March 19, 2026, Alain Fabien accused Anthony of instructing a bodyguard to shoot Obba, a Malinois dog. According to him, the act involved three shots fired at the dog, which he condemned as a cowardly act.
This incident reportedly took place at the family property in Douchy on November 2, 2024. Following the allegations, Alain Fabien filed a complaint against his brother, and soon after, the animal welfare organization, 30 Million Friends, lodged a formal complaint as well.

- Anthony’s lawyer, Maître Laurence Bedossa, defended him by stating that Obba was attacking Loubo, another dog owned by Alain Delon, who passed away on August 18, 2024.
