Initially diagnosed in 2022 with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, he first noticed symptoms through swollen glands. Throughout his treatment, Neill experienced setbacks. At one point, he admitted to feeling hopeless as standard chemotherapy began to fail him. He stated, “I was at a loss and it looked like I was on the way out, which wasn’t ideal.”
Innovative Treatment and Recovery
Confronted with a grim prognosis, Neill underwent a pioneering therapy called CAR T-cell therapy. This innovative treatment involves genetically modifying blood cells to fight cancer more effectively. After completing the therapy, Neill received encouraging news following a recent scan.
