Former TT Racer Dies in Isle of Man Test Day Incident

A tragic incident has claimed the life of former TT racer Ed Poole, age 79, during a test day on the Isle of Man. The Andreas Racing Association has confirmed his passing following a crash at the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) test day held at Jurby Circuit on April 11. Notably, there were no other riders involved in the incident.

Ed Poole was a seasoned competitor with a rich history in motorcycle racing. A resident of Rhencullen, he began his racing career on the Mountain Course in 1994. Over the course of more than 25 years, he participated in several prestigious events, including:
