Morgan Wallen Donates $1.2 Million to Upgrade Alma Mater’s Baseball Field

Country music artist Morgan Wallen has made a generous contribution to his former high school, Gibbs High School, located in Corryton, Tennessee. The Morgan Wallen Foundation is set to donate $1.2 million aimed at upgrading the school’s baseball field.

This substantial donation will transform the current baseball field into a “state-of-the-art multi-use athletic field.” Plans also include the construction of a new softball facility on campus. Last year, in recognition of Wallen’s achievements, the school renamed the baseball field to “Morgan Wallen Field.”

Wallen, who graduated from Gibbs in 2011, was a standout player on the baseball team that clinched the state title in 2010. During his senior year, he boasted a commendable .347 batting average with 35 hits, including six doubles and five home runs.
