April 25, 2026 Road Races: Traffic and Parking Restrictions Announced

The Bergerac Athlétique Club is organizing Intersport road races on April 25, 2026. The event features two race formats: 5 km and 10 km. In preparation for these races, traffic and parking restrictions will be implemented to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.

Event Schedule

The road races will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The start and finish lines will be located on Rue du Docteur Gaston Simounet.

Traffic Restrictions

Vehicle traffic will be prohibited on several streets during specific timeframes:

  • From 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM: Rue du Docteur Gaston Simounet
  • From 6:30 PM to 11:59 PM:
    • Boulevard du 8 Mai 1945
    • Rue Bargironnette
    • Rue Beauferrier
    • Rue Marcellin Berthelot
    • Rue Waldeck Rousseau (between Rue Marcellin Berthelot and Boulevard Beausoleil)
    • Boulevard Beausoleil (between the Pont Saint-Jean roundabout and Rue Valette)
    • Boulevard Jean Moulin
    • Boulevard Montaigne (between Boulevard Beausoleil and Cours Alsace-Lorraine)
    • Rue Sainte-Catherine
    • Cours Alsace-Lorraine
    • Rue de la Résistance
    • Rue des Carmes
    • Boulevard Maine de Biran
    • Rue Valette (between Rue Renan and Rue Marcellin Berthelot)

Additionally, the traffic direction will be reversed on Rue Ragueneau between Rue Le Bret and Rue du 14 Juillet.

Parking Restrictions

Parking will be prohibited in the following areas:

  • Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM:
    • Rue Sainte-Catherine
    • Rue de la Résistance
  • Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM:
    • Cours Alsace-Lorraine
    • Rue des Carmes
    • Boulevard Jean Moulin (between Boulevard Beausoleil and Cours Alsace-Lorraine)
    • Boulevard Montaigne
  • From 11:59 PM on Friday, April 24, to 11:59 PM on Saturday, April 25:
    • Rue du Docteur Gaston Simounet
    • Boulevard du 8 Mai 1945
    • Boulevard Maine de Biran
    • Rue Bargironnette
    • Rue Beauferrier
    • Rue Valette (between Rue Renan and Rue Marcellin Berthelot)
    • Rue Marcellin Berthelot
    • Rue Waldeck Rousseau (between Rue Marcellin Berthelot and Boulevard Beausoleil)

Practical Information

Advance traffic signage will be installed before the event. Barricades labeled “road closed” will appear on key routes starting at 6:30 PM. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and use alternative routes.

Vehicles in violation of the restrictions may be towed in compliance with local regulations.
