Max Verstappen is set to make his return to the Nürburgring as he participates in the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) races. This weekend, he will compete in the NLS4 and NLS5 events, showcasing his skills in endurance racing.

Max Verstappen Returns to the Nürburgring

Verstappen, a four-time Formula 1 world champion, will take on the challenging Nordschleife track, known as ‘The Green Hell.’ These races serve as his preparation for the upcoming Nurburgring 24 Hours, scheduled for May.

    • Saturday: Live stream begins at 4 PM, race start at 4:30 PM

Teaming Up with Lucas Auer

Verstappen will partner with Lucas Auer, an experienced endurance racer and nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger. Together, they will compete in a 37-strong GT3 field during the endurance event.

Verstappen’s GT3 Journey

This will mark the third and fourth instances of Verstappen racing in GT3 cars within the NLS series. He secured a victory in his debut last September, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside teammate Chris Lulham. Despite winning in his last outing, Verstappen and his team faced disqualification due to exceeding the allowed tire limits.

Upcoming F1 Season

Formula 1 will resume on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, featuring the season’s second Sprint weekend. Fans can catch the live action on Sky Sports F1.
