Construction has officially begun on the downtown segment of the Ontario Line, a significant transit project in Toronto. The Ontario Line will cover 15.6 kilometers and aims to improve transit access for nearly 230,000 residents.

The downtown segment will feature two tunneling machines digging approximately 40 meters underground from Exhibition Station towards Don Yard. This segment will connect vital areas, including Lakeshore Boulevard and the Don Valley Parkway.
Project Timeline and Expectations
