Leafs Secure Forward Sim with Two-Year Entry-Level Contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Landon Sim to a two-year, entry-level contract. The announcement was made on Tuesday. At 21 years old, Sim has made notable strides in his hockey career.
Landon Sim’s Background
Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Sim joined the Maple Leafs organization last spring. Before this contract, he had an American Hockey League deal. His performance this season with the Toronto Marlies has been noteworthy.
Season Performance
- Three goals in 18 games with the Toronto Marlies.
- Six points in 18 games with the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones.
Sim was selected by the St. Louis Blues as the 184th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He previously played for the Ontario Hockey League’s London Knights, where he enjoyed considerable success.
Achievements
During his time with the Knights, Sim won the Memorial Cup last spring. His playoff performance was impressive, with 12 goals and three assists over 17 games.
