Javier Hernández Returns to Chivas for Pumas Clash

Javier Hernández is set to return to Chivas as they prepare for a crucial match against Pumas de la UNAM. The Guadalajara team is on its way to Mexico City for this important clash, bringing both opportunities and challenges due to player injuries.
Hernández’s Comeback and Team Updates
Hernández, popularly known as ‘Chicharito,’ has been included in Chivas’ squad following his recent recovery from injury. He missed the last two Liga MX matches against Necaxa and Puebla due to a knock received in the game against Toluca.
Chivas will benefit from Hernández’s offensive skills as they face Pumas at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario. He will join fellow attackers Armando González, Teun Wilke, and Alan Pulido in the lineup.
Injury Updates
In addition to Hernández’s return, two other players are back in training. Daniel Aguirre, who has been sidelined since late August due to a thigh injury, is fit to play again. Bryan González, who suffered a minor sprain last Saturday against Puebla, has also recovered and is included in the matchday squad.
However, the team still grapples with injuries. Roberto Alvarado, who has an ankle sprain, and Alan Mozo, recovering from knee surgery, will not participate in the upcoming match. Alvarado is also ruled out for the Mexico national team’s friendlies and may be available for the match against Mazatlán after FIFA’s international break.
