‘SNL’ Announces Hosts and Musical Guests for Remaining Season

Season 51 of “Saturday Night Live” is wrapping up with exciting episodes featuring prominent hosts and musical guests. The iconic NBC show has announced its final line-up as it prepares for a summer break.

The end of the season will showcase remarkable talents, starting with:
- April 11: Colman Domingo – Host, Anitta – Musical Guest
- May 2: Olivia Rodrigo – Host and Musical Guest
- May 9: Matt Damon – Host, Noah Kahan – Musical Guest
- May 16: Will Ferrell – Host, Paul McCartney – Musical Guest
Details on the Season Finale
Will Ferrell, a former cast member, will return as host for the season finale on May 16. This marks his sixth hosting appearance, the first since 2019. The legendary Paul McCartney will perform, celebrating his fifth musical guest slot on the show. McCartney is set to release his new album, “The Boys of Dungeon Lane,” on May 29.
Special Highlights of the Season
On May 2, pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo will take on hosting duties, marking her third appearance as a musical guest. Her new album, “You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love,” will debut on June 12. Following her, Matt Damon will host the show on May 9, coinciding with the release of his upcoming film, “The Odyssey,” directed by Christopher Nolan.
Noah Kahan, who will be the musical guest that night, is expected to present tracks from his new album, “The Great Divide,” coming out on April 24.
Returning and New Faces
Throughout Season 51, “SNL” has had a mix of new and returning hosts. Notable guests included Finn Wolfhard and Connor Storrie, along with familiar faces like Ryan Gosling and Amy Poehler. Jack Black recently became a member of the “five-timers club,” a recognition for those who have hosted the show five times.
Following the season finale, “SNL” will take a hiatus during the summer. The premiere date for Season 52 remains unannounced, though the show usually returns at the end of September or the beginning of October.
