Hatton started the day with energy, quickly overcoming a nine-hole scoring drought. This slump followed his initial birdie on the 10th hole during Thursday’s round. He returned to the course with determination, successfully chipping to seven feet at the second and ten feet at the third hole, leveling his score.

Two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler struggled during the second day. He experienced back-to-back bogeys at the fourth and fifth holes, pushing him down to two over par.
Conversely, Brooks Koepka found some form, carding four birdies and three bogeys for an outward nine of 35, leaving him at one under par.
