The Settled in Full quest is a notable addition from the ARC Raiders Flashpoint update. This mission is assigned by Tian Wen, a specialist in firearms located in Speranza. Players are tasked with a simple yet challenging objective: eliminate a Bastion and retrieve its cell.
Quest Objectives
To complete the Settled in Full quest, you must achieve the following:
- Defeat a Bastion on any topside map.
- Deliver a Bastion Cell back to Tian Wen in Speranza.
Note that both steps are mandatory. You cannot purchase the Bastion Cell or find it; it must be obtained from the defeated Bastion.
Finding a Bastion
Bastions are found exclusively on topside maps, with Spaceport being the most consistent location. When you drop into this area, head toward the Departure Building or Container Storage, as these spots tend to have frequent Bastion spawns.
For a streamlined approach, consider participating in sessions with the Matriarch map event. The Matriarch is typically accompanied by a Bastion and its entourage, which can make the fight easier as other players join. Keep in mind, however, that you’ll face competition for the loot, so act quickly.
Defeating a Bastion
While Bastions move slowly, they deliver significant damage if approached carelessly. It’s crucial to find cover before engaging. Here are some effective strategies:
- Utilize heavy ammo weapons such as the Anvil, Ferro, or Renegade. Tier IV versions are preferred.
- Stock up on ammunition for a prolonged battle.
- If available, legendary weapons like the Aphelion or Jupiter can expedite the fight.
The key weak points of a Bastion are:
- Yellow leg joints: Inflicting damage here will paralyze the Bastion briefly.
- Yellow canister at the rear: Sustained fire will eventually expose its core.
The recommended approach is to break a leg joint first, then close in to deal more damage to the rear canister before finishing off the core.
Delivering the Bastion Cell
Once the Bastion is defeated, loot both its legs and body to retrieve the Bastion Cell along with possible additional items such as ARC Alloy and ARC Powercell. Ensure to move the cell to your Safe Pocket immediately, as dying during extraction will result in losing it.
As you head back to Speranza, speak with Tian Wen to turn in the cell and complete the quest.
Rewards for Completing the Quest
Successfully finishing the Settled in Full quest provides 30 Raider Tokens, a premium in-game currency. These tokens can be spent on cosmetic items available in the ARC Raiders store, including outfit bundles and tools. While they cannot be used for gear upgrades or ammunition, 30 tokens for a single quest is a substantial reward.
