Furbank to Leave Saints After 2025/26 Season

Northampton Saints have officially announced that George Furbank will depart the club after the 2025/26 season. The 29-year-old fullback, who serves as Club Captain, will transition to Harlequins at the end of June 2026.
Furbank’s Journey with Northampton Saints
Furbank joined Northampton’s Academy and secured his first professional contract in 2016. He made his senior debut in November 2017 against the Exeter Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. In the following season, he earned his Gallagher Premiership debut.
Throughout his time with the Saints, Furbank has made 140 appearances and scored a total of 283 points. He also earned 14 caps for England, starting with his Test debut during the 2020 Six Nations.
