North Huron High School Fire Leaves One Critically Injured

A fire outbreak at F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham, Ontario, resulted in one individual sustaining life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, just after 8 a.m.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Huron County responded promptly to the emergency call. Emergency crews quickly evacuated students and staff while extinguishing the flames.

Both a staff member and a student were reported injured. They have been transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) confirmed the injuries, but declined to provide further comment.
