Berkeley Launches Ambitious 1,000-Home Development in Sutton

Berkeley Group has officially unveiled plans for an ambitious development in Sutton. The project will create a vibrant new neighbourhood on a former brownfield site.
Overview of the Development
The site spans 5.6 acres and is located on land that was previously a chalk quarry. Recently, it also housed a B&Q store and a car park. The new neighbourhood will consist of eight residential buildings, ranging in height from six to 21 storeys.

Enabling works are currently underway, marking the start of the first phase, which includes the construction of 159 homes. This step represents Berkeley’s commitment to revitalizing underused brownfield sites.
