Gregory Jackson’s Restraining Order Violation
Gregory Jackson, 36, has received a 12-month community order for breaching a restraining order. This ruling was made by the North Staffordshire Justice Centre as Jackson walked past his brother and sister-in-law’s home and knocked on their door between November 25 and November 29 of the previous year. His attorney, Simon Leech, described Jackson as a vulnerable individual coping with family issues.

Kevin Hunter’s Drug Charges
Kevin Hunter, 58, from Ubberley Road in Bentilee, has pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possession of a Class B drug. Sentencing is set for the week of May 11, and Hunter remains in custody.
Brandon Cooper’s Charges Dismissed
Brandon Cooper, 29, of Winchester Avenue, faced charges for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. However, the Crown Prosecution Service decided not to proceed with the case. Judge Richard McConaghy subsequently declared not guilty verdicts, leading to Cooper’s release.
Matthew Bancroft’s Theft Charges
Matthew Bancroft, a 46-year-old from Greyson Avenue in Packmoor, has received a 12-month conditional discharge after admitting to stealing goods valued at £19.24 from B&M on December 1, 2025. Bancroft’s counsel mentioned his financial struggles, and he has not committed any thefts since then.

Jake Dubiel’s Conspiracy Charges
In Knutton, Jake Dubiel, 27, has denied conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and Class B drugs (cannabis) committed between January 1 and February 27, 2026. His trial is scheduled for August 24, with a pre-trial review set for June 22. Dubiel remains in custody.
David Hammonds’ Assault Charges
David Hammonds, 41, of Bold Street in Northwood, has denied charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intentional strangulation from an incident on December 30. His trial will commence in the week starting August 17, with a pre-trial review on July 6. Hammonds has also been remanded in custody.
