In a tragic incident on Easter Sunday, seven people sustained injuries after a ceiling collapsed at the Poseidón Palace hotel in Benidorm. The hotel, a popular choice among tourists, was filled with guests during the unforeseen event.

Chunks of plasterboard and air conditioning ducts fell onto approximately 60 diners at the hotel. Among the injured were a young boy, age eight, and a man of 78. Both were taken to a local hospital but were later released after receiving treatment.
