El-Balad reports with deep sadness the passing of Mr. Jacinto Kiambi, age 60, who died on February 17. He was married to the late Rosa Mbiya and resided in Magog.

Mr. Kiambi is survived by his children:

- Marta Lusevi Batista
- Batista Sinao Gilberto
- Jacinto Natondo Gilberto
He also leaves behind many friends and the entire African community in the region. A memorial service to honor his life will be scheduled at a later date.
