Lewis Capaldi Leaves Taylor Swift Laughing with Wardrobe Mishap

During a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, Lewis Capaldi entertained audiences and fellow guests, including pop sensation Taylor Swift, with a humorous wardrobe mishap. The Scottish singer captured attention when a photo from his Glastonbury 2025 performance was shown on screen.

Lewis Capaldi’s Return and Tour

Capaldi made a notable comeback at the Glastonbury Music Festival in June after a lengthy hiatus. Following this triumphant return, he embarked on a sold-out headline tour and released two popular singles: “Survive” and “Something in the Heavens.” The show aired on October 3, featuring Capaldi alongside notable personalities including Cillian Murphy, Jodie Turner-Smith, Domhnall Gleeson, and Greta Lee.

Wardrobe Mishap Highlights

  • During the episode, Jodie Turner-Smith pointed out Capaldi’s outfit, which closely resembled the one he wore at Glastonbury.
  • In a lighthearted exchange, Capaldi acknowledged the similarity, leading Swift to bury her head in laughter.
  • Turner-Smith reassured him, humorously saying, “If it’s not broke.”

New Music and Mental Health Initiative

Capaldi also unveiled plans to release a new EP titled “Survive” later this year, alongside his current tour, which includes two upcoming shows at British Summer Time 2026 in Hyde Park, London.

Additionally, he announced a partnership with the mental health charity Better Help. As part of this initiative, he offered 734,000 hours of free therapy, representing the 734 days he spent away from the public eye. Swift praised his latest single, “Something in the Heavens,” describing it as “beautiful” and “stunning.”

Taylor Swift’s New Album

Swift, making her first appearance on the show since 2022, released her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on the same day. The record has generated mixed reviews, with some highlighting her compelling songwriting and a more upbeat tone, while others expressed disappointment with what they viewed as a lack of memorable hooks.

The latest episode of The Graham Norton Show is now available for viewing on BBC iPlayer, showcasing both Capaldi’s comedic charm and Swift’s musical prowess.
