FIFA Launches Final Phase for World Cup Ticket Sales

FIFA is initiating the final phase for World Cup ticket sales, paving the way for fans to secure their seats for the prestigious tournament. This important phase begins on April 1, providing an opportunity for fans to purchase tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
Details of the Final Phase for World Cup Ticket Sales
This final phase, known as the “Last-Minute Sales Phase,” will commence at 11 a.m. ET. For the first time, tickets will be available for immediate purchase rather than through a lottery system. With the complete lineup of 48 teams finalized following playoff matches on March 31, FIFA is set to offer an unprecedented experience for ticket buyers.
How to Purchase Tickets
Fans can visit FIFA.com/tickets to buy tickets starting April 1. Unlike previous sales phases, this time seat selection will be more user-friendly. Ticket categories have been distinctly outlined:
- Category 1: Highest-priced seats in lower tiers.
- Category 2: Located outside Category 1, available in lower and upper tiers.
- Category 3: Positioned in the upper tier, outside of Categories 1 and 2.
- Category 4: The most affordable category, situated in the upper tier, outside of Categories 1–3.
Starting April 1, fans who secured tickets in any of these categories will also see the specific seat locations for the first time. It is advised to check the ticket website frequently, as availability will occur on a rolling basis.
Resale Market for Tickets
World Cup tickets will also be accessible through third-party resellers. Nonetheless, FIFA recommends utilizing its own resale and exchange marketplace. This platform ensures a secure environment for fans who can no longer attend matches and wish to sell their tickets. The FIFA resale marketplace will open on April 2.
