The successful operation involved agents from the Specialized Investigation Vice-Prosecutor’s Office for Social Coordination. They received assistance from the Mexican Army and the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences. The authorities executed a search warrant at the suspect location.
Findings at the Site
Upon entering the premises, no individuals were found. However, the officials seized:
- Over 20 kilograms of green plant material resembling narcotics
- Metal utensils with traces of cooking residues
- Packaging containing candy and cereal rings possibly mixed with drugs
- Cigarette packs and vaping devices
- Sealing machines and seven digital scales
Estimated Value of Seized Items
Preliminary sources suggest that the total value of the confiscated items may exceed 10 million pesos. This operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities in the region.
